Stainless Steel Pans

Ideal for hot frying

Fissler stainless steel pans are particularly suitable for cooking at high temperatures. As a premium manufacturer, Fissler has been providing high-quality and durable 18/10 stainless steel for generations.

Products are sorted by Position

High-quality stainless steel: the optimum material for high temperatures.

The 18/10 stainless steel used by Fissler is rustproof and particularly robust. The material can be heated strongly and withstands high temperatures.

Stainless steel pans made by Fissler have an aluminum core at the bottom to optimize heat conductivity. This ensures that the pans get hot quickly and retain heat longer. The thick, multi-layer base capsule distributes the heat evenly.

What is a stainless steel pan used for?

Stainless steel pans are used for frying meat, poultry, and crustaceans. The Novogrill® frying surface of the Original-Profi Collection® allows this to be accomplished without using excessive amounts of oil. A stainless steel pan is also ideal for quickly frying vegetables.

Frying without having your food stick

Fried food tends to stick when using a stainless steel pan. Therefore, frying with a stainless steel pan requires some practice.

For searing in a stainless steel pan, the right temperature is crucial: the pan must be hot enough so that the ingredients release from the bottom. Searing steaks, meat skewers, chops and lamb tenderloins, and grilled vegetables, requires little oil. Breaded meat, potato pancakes and pastries are best baked in the stainless steel pan with a little more oil.

Tip: Whether the food sticks or not depends primarily on the temperature and turning before burning or overcooking. When preparing roasted meat, poultry, and potatoes, you should be patient and wait before turning. As soon as a continuous golden crust has formed at the edge of the fried food, the crispy food can be easily removed from the frying surface.

The right care for your stainless steel pan.

Cleaning in the dishwasher attacks metallic surfaces. Acids and protein can also leave stains. For a permanently shining surface, Fissler recommends treating it with Fissler Stainless Steel Care. The special ingredients protect against corrosion and further staining. With regular care, stainless steel becomes more resistant to stains and easier to clean over time.

If grease has burned onto the surface and sides of the pan and cannot be removed with Fissler Stainless Steel Cleaner, you should soak the pan:

  • Fill a larger pan with water, a pinch of baking soda and a drop of dishwashing liquid and bring the mixture to a boil.

  • Place the affected pan in the prepared dish soak to soak.

  • After about 20 minutes of soaking, remove all impurities with a dishcloth or sponge.

Stainless steel pans with Novogrill® frying surface

The Original-Profi Collection® fry pan and serving pan have a Novogrill® frying surface that ensures optimal oil distribution and is ideal for low-fat and crisp frying.

If you use this pan with little or no oil, small air pockets are created in the indentations. The oil can distribute itself optimally under the fried food. The food grills on the elevations of the surface and the direct contact surface are reduced. As a result, the Novogrill® surface ensures that food does not stick easily.
